 Our positions are driven by evidence and the public interest — never by funders, political actors, or technology companies whose products we evaluate. 

 Every output must meet the highest standards of intellectual honesty and factual accuracy. We do not suppress inconvenient findings. We correct mistakes publicly.

AI governance discourse must reflect India's 1.4 billion citizens — across gender, caste, language, disability, region, and economic status.

 We hold AI systems and policymakers to account — and hold ourselves to the same standard. We publish methodologies and disclose funding.

APAIC builds coalitions with civil society, academia, government, judiciary, and international bodies. We consider other governance organisations as partners.

 All work is grounded in the fundamental rights guaranteed by the Constitution of India. No AI innovation justifies the erosion of constitutional rights.
